How terminals work
A tablet or PC with a browser is all you need. Optionally with a USB card reader or 2D scanner.
A terminal in three steps
- 1
Pair
Create the terminal in the app. The device is connected with a pairing code or QR code.
- 2
Identify
Employees hold their RFID card to the reader, show their QR badge or enter a PIN.
- 3
Clock in
In, break and out are posted and appear in time tracking immediately.
Identification of your choice
Combine the options per location.
Web kiosk
Any tablet or PC with an up-to-date browser in full-screen mode.
RFID card
USB card reader that works like a keyboard – no drivers needed.
QR badge
Pre-printed QR cards or personal QR badges, read by a 2D scanner or the camera.
PIN
Optionally in addition or as an alternative when no badge is at hand.
Set up yourself or get it ready-made
Set up yourself
Use your own tablet or PC and connect it with a pairing code in minutes.
Security at the terminal
- Every terminal gets its own device key.
- Block lost or stolen devices with one click.
- Card UIDs are stored as hashes only.
- During network outages RFID and QR scans are buffered and sent later; PIN entries require a connection.
